At the recent AGM the members present voted unanimously in favour of the appointment of three new Honorary Life Members. All three have served the Club tirelessly over many years. Incoming President, Neil Jamieson, was delighted to put forward the names of: Trevor Hogg; Malcolm Bell and David Hall.

Trevor is the longest serving, active member of the Club, having been a member since 1954 - whilst still at school. He has served the Club in various capacities from 3rd XV captain through to President via Hon.Secretary, match Secretary etc.

Closely following Trevor in longevity of membership is Malcolm Bell. Again Mal has been a member since his school days and, following the end of his paying and managerial roles, he has been the Hon. Fixture Secretary for a countless number of years. Mal is Senior Vice- President for the next two years.

Lastly is the "baby" of the trio! David Hall first joined the Club several years ago with his son, Peter, as Coach of the U8's minis. He guided several of today's senior players through the mini/junior ranks to maturity with the "older" end of the playing membership. He then started all over again with his grandson, Luke, at U8's level. Every Sunday morning he was to be seen out on the pitch before dashing off to the kitchen to provide food for the lads. His culinary skills were put even more to the test, when he stood in as Chef for after match (and sometimes pre-match) entertainment of both players and alickados. Latterly Dave has served as Hon.Secretary and Chairman before handing over the latter position to Keith Gibson recently.

All three are very worthy recipients of the highest honour the Club can afford to individuals and they join the other three existing HLM's: John Short; Mal Stokoe and Neil Jamieson.

An exciting future!

Following our having been served notice to quit Druid Park by our landlord, the Club is pleased to announce that we are to renew old acquaintances back at Bullocksteads, owned by Northumbria University for the coming season, '14-'15. The Club as a whole will move there in two months time with the mini/juniors beginning on September 7th, followed by the seniors after our final League game at Druid on September 20th. Until that time it is status quo at Druid. The agreement with Northumbria is for the said season with an option to extend beyond that.
